Elite Began With A Simple Mission In Mind
In 2013, Elite Recycling and Disposal LLC was created to bring curbside single-stream recycling and consistent trash service to Pagosa Country. We wanted to do something good for this community and knew if we could make recycling easy and affordable more people would do it. We studied recycle programs in Durango, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Tulsa and modeled our program after those. But we are not going to rest on our laurels. Like most small companies we started with 1 truck, but we have some big plans for the future.
Now, in 2021, we have 7 trucks. We offer commercial container service along with small 11 and 13 Yard construction rolloffs. We strive to be flexible with our services to suit the needs of our varied customers and we work with our seasonal residents to provide service for just the time they spend in Pagosa. We are proud supporters of the Pagosa Springs High School Athletic Boosters, Aspire, and the Pagosa Springs Community Band.
We have partnered with PLPOA to pick up pine needles from May through October as part of PLPOA's fire mitigation.
